4 Smartphone Apps That Pay

A few years ago mystery shopping was a tough gig to break in to, lots of freebies, spare money and that James Bond feeling you get while going under cover. Today lots of companies are outsourcing their mystery shopping to smart phone apps, so now you can be a secret agent too! These apps require you to complete various tasks, usually in relation to retailers in your area. This includes, taking pictures of the premises, of stock, talking to staff and much more. Some also provide Surveys to do at home. The minimum age for these apps is 18, and you’ll need to have a smartphone with a camera. The pay for these mystery shopping gigs is usually quite good – between £2 and £5 each time for basic jobs and I’ve even seen ones as high as £20. Some jobs, may require you to purchase a product, you’re then reimbursed for that product once you have completed your task, these usually pay better.

Field Agent Apple | Website

Unfortunately Field agent is only available on Apple devices; however it’s probably the largest of these types of apps, and is available in many countries. Just sign up via the app and check the map for jobs in your area. Jobs go quick, so you’ll need to be fast!
  • Payment Method: Paypal
  • Minimum Payout: No Minimum
  • Available In: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Denmark, Norway and Sweden

StreetSpotr Apple | Android | Website

This was the first mystery shopper type app i ever downloaded, there’s a fair amount of work on it and there seems to be lots of work on mainland Europe (It’s a German company so there is plenty of work available there) You also receive Street Points, these points make you eligible for higher paying, more difficult jobs.
  • Payment Method: - Paypal
  • Minimum Payout - No minimum
  • Available In: - United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland (and probably more, i couldn’t find a list)

Roamler - Apple | Android | Website

While doing my research I found that this app actually pays more than StreetSpotr, and even has some of the same tasks. The catch however is that this app is invite only, however if you keep an eye on their facebook page then getting an invite isn’t very hard at all
  • Payment Method: - Paypal
  • Minimum Payout - No minimum
  • Available In - Holland, Great Britain, Sweden, Italy, Poland, Germany, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Turkey

Clic and Walk - Apple | Android | Website

Clic and Walk is in the same mold as the others, howver they also have a lot of surveys in regards to products you currently use, or own.
  • Payment Method: - Paypal
  • Minimum Payout: - £3
  • Available In: - France, UK, Germany (with plans to expand to many more this coming year)

Swagbucks guide for the UK

Odds are, you’ve probably already signed up to swagbucks, but if you’ve been living under a rock, or you’re simply looking for a way to be more efficient with your time, then this guide may help. Swagbucks is probably the most popular site of it’s type. You watch videos, do surveys, play games & sign up for offers through their website in exchange for Swagbucks. You can then exchange these Swagbucks for gift cards (Amazon, John Lewis etc.) or cash straight to your paypal account.

Getting started

First you need to Sign Up. When signing up use the code ”RSWAGBUCKS” to bag yourself 70sb for free.
Note: The box to type this in doesn't show up unless you click “I have a sign up code (optional)” which is under the “Confirm Password” Box.
The first thing you’ll want to do is is follow the tutorial to learn how to earn. This should give you 32SB
Next verify your account via email
Hover over My settings and then Survey Profile - Fill out the details and this should give you surveys more targeted to you.

Other Useful Info

The swagbucks day starts and ends at 8am our time in the UK
The facebook page is a good source of info, though tends to be relating to offers in US rather than here.
It is not against swagbucks terms to hold multiple accounts at the one address (however they seem to have an issue with more than 2). Multiple accounts are not to be held by one person or to be shared.

Make Money Online with Clickworker and UHRS

Clickworker is by far the best method I’ve discovered (so far) to earn money online. I regularly make between £20-£50 a week for a few hours a day. It’s very similar to Amazon’s MTURK (which is unfortunately U.S. only) Clickworker is a company based out of Germany, they pay you cash to Clickworker website. The real money is made on their UHRS project
do small online tasks, such as rate if a website has adult content, verify information on individuals & organizations and a massive range of others tasks. Although there are some jobs available on the

Getting Started
Note: Clickworker requires that you use Internet Explorer to complete tasks from them
First, you need to Sign Up. Once you have done this, it’s time to start filling out your profile. A few key things to remember when filling our your profile: When they ask you for a tax number select “No, I am freelance/commercial”. You’ll need to add English as your native language for Both written and Verbal. And don’t forget to fill out your paypal address under payment details
Once your profile is completed it’s time to do some assessments. The first two assessments are:
  • Placement Test – English: This is a simple Grammar test with around 35 multiple choice questions. Very simple to complete and should only take you about 10 minutes
  • Qualify for Address: This is a test to check your research skills. You will be given a Company name, you need to google that company and find out their contact info. You’ll need to list the Company name, address & phone number. With this test READ THE GUIDELINES!! As it’s very important you input the data exactly as they expect it. This will take about 10-15 minutes.
After you have completed these tests, another set of tests will be unlocked for you. These are:
  • Qualification for UHRS I: This is a combination of the first two tests, you’ll get about 50 multiple choice grammar questions and about 5 find the address questions.
  • Qualification for UHRS II: This is simple. You have to create the Live I.D. you will be using to access UHRS. Just follow the instructions and sign up for the unique Live I.D. they tell you (You Should save or write this down somewhere) – Well Done! You’ve now got access to UHRS.

UHRS
UHRS or Unique Human Resources System is where the money’s at. You can login by clicking “Compare Web Search Results” under jobs. Or you can log in directly at https://prod.uhrs.playmsn.com/Judge/Views/Login
Each Job (or HIT as Clickworker calls them) requires you to do a qualification test, this is normally the same as the actual HIT, but Clickworker knows the answers and checks to make sure you got it correct, as long as you read the guidelines and pay attention you should pass first time (normaly you get 3 chances, but this isn’t always the case, and if you fail qualification you can’t do that HIT) Once you have passed the qualification test, simply click “Start Judging” to begin working.
Payment
Payment is made via paypal. Your first payment is quite slow, and takes 21 days. However after the first payment has been made you are paid weekly.
